Cinder, the cyborg mechanic, returns in the second thrilling installment of the bestselling Lunar Chronicles. She’s trying to break out of prison—even though if she succeeds, she’ll be the Commonwealth’s most wanted fugitive.

Halfway around the world, Scarlet Benoit’s grandmother is missing. It turns out there are many things Scarlet doesn’t know about her grandmother or the grave danger she has lived in her whole life. When Scarlet encounters Wolf, a street fighter who may have information as to her grandmother’s whereabouts, she is loath to trust this stranger, but is inexplicably drawn to him, and he to her. As Scarlet and Wolf unravel one mystery, they encounter another when they meet Cinder. Now, all of them must stay one step ahead of the vicious Lunar Queen Levana, who will do anything for the handsome Prince Kai to become her husband, her king, her prisoner.

My Review 4 stars

Book 2 in The Lunar Chronicles series spoilers if you haven’t read Cinder yet.

Scarlet grandmother has gone missing, the police won’t do anything about it. When she meets Wolf everything changes. Scarlet was once told that there were no secrets between them both but she was hiding something that will change Scarlet forever.

Red Riding Hood is one of my favorite story’s have you seen the film with Amanda Seyfried in it I would highly recommend it. We have three stories in one sort of we have Cinder and what happens after she escapes from prison who does she turn to? where does she go? Kia has to deal with the consequences of Cinder escaping he will do anything  to save his country. Scarlet and Wolf have their own problems Scarlet grandmother is missing nobody will help find her except wolf but can she trust him?

In this book we have fresh new characters Scarlet has many things to deal with her grandma missing she has to run the farm and the business, her dad is no help when he turns up at her house looking for something. Wolf is defiantly a mystery I love him even towards the end where we discover many things he just wants to leave the pack. And then we have Thorne he is so funny I found myself laughing half the time i enjoyed Cinder and there friendship Cinder needs someone who doesn’t know who she truly is.

Overall I loved this book I liked that Cinder didn’t change she still wants to be good and doesn’t want to  harm people with what she is capable with. Like in Cinder I felt like towards the ending it picked up pace, everything happened at once with the action also.
