My review: 4 stars

The first book in The Lunar Chronicles series.

Cinder is a mechanic and cyborg, there is a disease being spread no one is safe. Not even her step sister. Cinder has many choses does she run away? or does she stay and fight for her life? Everything changes the day her step sister catches the disease.

I really enjoyed this book I am kicking myself because I don’t know why I haven’t picked it up sooner. This series is a fairy re telling Cinder is about Cinderella and i think everybody knows where that story ends. But Marissa has this way of making us believe that it will go the way we all know because it would make the whole book, series predictable. All I’m going to say is that the ending did surprise me.

Cinder and Kia are both lost they don’t know what to do. Cinder learns many things about her real family and learning those things has put Cinder life in danger. Kia has his people to protect to keep safe from any wars even if that means making an alliance with the Lunar queen.

I really enjoyed Cinder and Kia together but separate Cinder is strong but she would have to be considering what she has been through. Also I like that she was sarcastic sometimes that can get annoying but I loved it here. Adri I have never found a character so… just ugh, at times i really wanted Cinder to stand up for herself but Adri literally has everything Cinder owns.

Everything about this book was enjoyable if you haven’t already picked this up I would highly recommend it. It defiantly picked up towards the end so many things are discovered there is heart-break, action and some tense scenes.
