A library apprentice, a sorcerer prince, and an unbreakable magic bond…

The Solaris Empire is one conquest away from uniting the continent, and the rare elemental magic sleeping in seventeen-year-old library apprentice Vhalla Yarl could shift the tides of war.

Vhalla has always been taught to fear the Tower of Sorcerers, a mysterious magic society, and has been happy in her quiet world of books. But after she unknowingly saves the life of one of the most powerful sorcerers of them all—the Crown Prince Aldrik—she finds herself enticed into his world. Now she must decide her future: Embrace her sorcery and leave the life she’s known, or eradicate her magic and remain as she’s always been. And with powerful forces lurking in the shadows, Vhalla’s indecision could cost her more than she ever imagined.

Review: 4.5 stars

First book in the Air Awakens series.

Vhalla is a library assistant her life is simple until one night she saves Prince Aldrik little does she know is he will change her life, she will discover her magic is very rare. She must decide what she wants in her life does she want to stay in the library with her friends or does she want to learn about her magic with the Prince at her side.

I didn’t know what to expect when I first started this book I went in it blind which I’m really happy i did, this book literally took me a couple of days to read when i read the last page i was so surprised. Half way through i was wondering how it was going to end but i defiantly didn’t expect this or even the explosion where did that come form.

I liked Vhalla but she took her time with certain things which I thought were unnecessary when we all knew what she was going to say. Towards the ending I felt so bad for her with what she was gong through i was desperate to find out what happened to her. Prince Aldrik i actually really liked him even when he was being stupid i enjoyed Prince Aldrik and Vhalla together at first he is arrogant and reckless, through out though we do get to see his soft side to him the side where he does actually care about someone other than himself.

Overall I am excited to read more of this series I am eager to see what happens, if you haven’t already read this book i would recommend it if you love, magic, romance and action.
