Review- 5 stars

Book 1 in the Mistborn trilogy.

A crew, one mission, one goal to take down the Final Empire, many have tried but failed.

Vin is a nobody all she knows is betrayal and what a beating is, she is a fighter learning the hard way how to survive on the streets with her brother Reen. Vin is always proving her self to the crew eager to say yes to a task that needs to happen what she doesn’t know she is already a big part of the crew and their chance to succeed in this mission. Kelsier is the leader of the crew saving Vin teaching her how to use her allomancy, revenge drives Kelsier to do the things he does. Kelsier is confident, even funny at times even when the others are nervous he knows what he wants and how to get there. The crew get on so well because they know what it is like to be beaten up or starving or even living on the streets.

The magic system is so thought out and surprising easy to follow so if you are worried about not getting the magic trust me you will, everything is explained in detail so you get whats happening also many things are repeated throughout so you won’t forget. Basically you swallow a viel of metals or you use metal that you are around and each metal has a different property such as pewter strengthens you and tin can enhance senses.

OMG! considering this book is nearly 700 hundred pages it just me a week to read everything was brilliant it wasn’t slow at all which honestly I was expecting to struggle getting into it. This book has everything you want a little romance, fighting and a crew who clearly care for each other. If this book sounds like it is for you i would highly recommend it. I am definitely going to check out the other books in this series.
