About this book- Source Goodread

The price of freedom is everything.

When forced to choose between safety with the dragon organization Talon and being hunted forever as an outcast, Ember Hill chose to stand with Riley and his band of rogue dragons rather than become an assassin for Talon. She’s lost any contact with her twin brother, Dante, a Talon devotee, as well as Garret, the former-enemy soldier who challenged her beliefs about her human side.

As Ember and Riley hide and regroup to fight another day, Garret journeys alone to the United Kingdom, birthplace of the ancient and secret Order of St. George, to spy on his former brothers and uncover deadly and shocking secrets that will shake the foundations of dragons and dragon slayers alike and place them all in imminent danger as Talon’s new order rises.

My review- 5 Stars

Book 3 in the Talon series.

Ember and Garret went there own way, Ember is busy with Wes and Riley while Garret is discovering secrets that will test friendships and how he feels about the Order of St. George.Friend ships will also be tested.

ARGH!!! this book was sooo good i would of given it more then 5 stars if i could on Goodreads, it was perfect everything i couldn’t fault it. My favorite out of the series now i really want Legion in my hands now but unfortunately i’ll have to wait till May next year.

Ember isn’t herself at the beginning she is drawn back from Riley and Wes. She is divided with her feelings about Riley and Garret which when she finally does confess her feelings to one of them  i totally understand why did that (if you have read this book you’ll know what i mean).

I really enjoyed that you got to see a little in Garrets past you learn about his parents and how he actually got involved with the the Order. He is not the only one that learns something new Dante does which i wasn’t expecting.

Another thing i wasn’t expecting was the ending i couldn’t believe it i still don’t now how i feel about it truthfully.

If you are looking for series that just keeps on getting better and better this is for you, amazingly written fighting scenes, romance, dragon and characters you won’t forget in a while this book is for you i highly recommend that you pick up this series if you haven’t already. Also cover is beautiful.
