October And November Wrap Up

Hello everybody! it has been awhile since I’ve actually sat down and wrote a blog post but I have been so busy work has basically taken over my life if I’m not working then I am doing college work. So today my class has been cancelled so i thought I’d catch up on a few things. The first one being my October wrap up in total i read three books which isn’t the greatest so I’m putting this months and last months wrap up together and there may be a little haul at the end.

The first book I read in October was Tower Of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas i gave this 3.5 stars. I honestly think I’m falling out of love with this series i loved the first book but after that i didn’t enjoy them as much as i thought i would. I personally think the story is getting dragged on too much and I’m honestly so confused. This book however is about Chaol what he was up to when Empire Of Storm was happening. I’m not going to give anything away as i don’t want to spoil it for everyone, bu it was just ok nothing honestly didn’t happen that surprised me.

The second book I read was Behind Her Eyes by Sarah Pinborough I gave this 4.5 stars it was amazing. When I finished i actually couldn’t get over what i just read which i love when it does happen. I don’t even know how to describe this book but here we go…. her son is everything for Louise he is her world. When she meets David she is shocked that he likes her. Then Adele comes in the picture Davids wife, Louise slowly gets to know her she starts to wonder if their marriage is as perfect as it seems. David i didn’t like him in the start but when we got to the end i actually felt sorry for him that’s all I’m going to say.

The last book I read in October was The Sister by Louise Jensen I ended up giving this one 3 stars. This one to me was a good read but it wasn’t gripping to me it didn’t have an amazing plot twist either because I guessed it towards the end. Since Charlie’s death Grace hasn’t been the same, a girl comes forward claiming she is Charlie’s sister Grace thinks that her world is sorted that she can finally start rebuilding her life. Dan Grace’s boyfriend is acting mysteriously with Anna’s presence. This was actually a sad read when I think about it now, i was just expecting something a bit more.

Now onto my November wrap up. The first book is I let You Go by Clare Mackintosh I gave this 3.4 stars. The twist or twists I should say were really good I do have to admit that, i actually gasp with the first one. Just when she was starting to feel like she could be happy Jenna’s past catch’s up with her, one night her life is changed forever. Domestic abuse and bullying is in this book towards the end when everything was unraveling i actually couldn’t put the book down.

Then lastly I bought The Crow Girl by Erik Axl Sund this is and Scandinavian novel. This book has three books in it it’s why it is over 750 pages, it is also Waterstones thriller of the month for November 2017. One body is found, detective Superintendent Jeanette Kihlberg wants to find out who the killer is. Two more bodies are found Jeanette knows she is looking for a serial killer. With the help of psychotherapist Sofia Zetterlund can they solve the mystery before they strike again.

Filofax Haul

Hey guys over the last couple of weeks I have accumulated a lot of things for my Filofax so i thought I’d show you. It’s mainly accessories for my weekly pages as my plan is for next year is to just make my own inserts and using post its and sticky tabs for decoration.

IMG_1272IMG_1274IMG_1275IMG_1276

Most of the things I am going to show you are from Poundworld, i picked up this paper which is just gorgeous to make dividers for next year. It has really pretty floral pages in with a few different other pages.

IMG_1279IMG_1281IMG_1283IMG_1286IMG_1288IMG_1305

These are all the decorations I have bought to make my weekly pages a little less boring, i really like the sticky note-book as it would be perfect for annotating my books so i am considering buying a few more as they are perfect.

Now I have no idea why i bought these Christmas cards but i honestly fell in love with them as soon as i saw them. My idea was to cut them in half to use as a dash-board sort of thing in my planner but I’m not sure i might just leave them for next year to figure something out.

Then these next things are from Wilko which is my favorite shop ever! I have been looking online for stickers to use in my planner but they are so expensive i just can’t justify buying them. I bought a pack of stickers for i think were around 50 60p I’ll be using them for color coding. I also got a pack of really small sticky notes to use not only in my planner but for when i am also annotating my books as they are the perfect size.
